CLB Coopers advises HTC Solutions and Elite Telecom

Following the completion of a numbers of deals towards the end of 2011, CLB Coopers has recently advised on two further deals.

A team led by Partners David Clift and Rob Wardle recently carried out the financial due diligence for business telecoms specialist Elite Telecom and Lloyds Bank in the £4.9m acquisition of London based GPNS. The deal will boost the annual turnover of Elite by £3.5m and gives the company access to a significant client base in London and the surrounding areas.

Commenting on the assignment, Partner David Clift said:
“It was a particularly challenging but satisfying assignment. The timetable was extremely tight however all parties worked well together to ensure that the completion was achieved on schedule. The deal came on the back of a busy period for CLB Coopers having advised on 5 deals in the two months leading up to Christmas.”

The firm’s Corporate Finance team, led by Steven Lindsay, also advised HTC Solutions Ltd on their recent acquisition of Stafford Based CS Electronics Ltd..

HTC Solutions Ltd, based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, is the developer of the Haultech software solution used across the haulage, logistics and distribution industry. Their acquisition of CS Electronics Ltd, a market leading vehicle tracking and telematics provider, sees an enhancement to the HaulTech brand, under which CS Electronics will operate as HaulTech TrakMan.

Corporate Finance Partner Steven Lindsay said of the acquisition:

CLB Coopers have already seen a busy start to the year and expects further deals to complete over the coming weeks.
