CLB Coopers is delighted to announce that Lindsey Shepherd has been appointed to the national committee of the ICAEW’s Solicitors’ Special Interest Group.
Lindsey, who specialises in Solicitors Regulation Authority Accounts Rules and in working with legal practices, joins the group’s committee of 14 other members who are representatives from the accountancy and legal sector as well as industry. The committee provides specialist sector knowledge, advice and thought leadership to the group’s 1,300 members and to firms supporting legal practice clients.
Speaking of her appointment, Lindsey, who is also a member of CLB Coopers’ specialist Professional Services group, commented, “At CLB Coopers, we currently work with over twenty legal practices, from the niche boutiques to large multi-site national firms operating across all disciplines. This is very much a core specialism throughout all areas of the firm and one where we have seen real growth in demand over the last eighteen months.
Not only are we able to help practices fulfil their regulatory and compliance requirements, we can also provide managing partners and senior teams with the strategic and operational support they need to manage the challenges of the modern law firm and to help them to focus on their future direction and growth plans. As the market continues to shift rapidly, this advice is of even more importance and value to our legal sector clients”.
