Bolton-based legal practice, AFG Law, is planning its future expansion under the control of its two new Managing Directors, Greg French and Anita Boardman, both longstanding employees of the firm and who take over from former Managing Director, Isobel Grey, as she retires.
Greg and Anita have more than 40 years’ experience with the firm; Greg joined in 2002 and Anita joined over 25 years ago as a secretary and completed her training with the firm and qualifying as a solicitor before moving into a director role.
AFG Law was established in Bolton more than 120 years ago and employs 50 staff which includes six directors. It opened its second office in 2013 in Bury and services a client base of private and commercial clients across a broad range of services, including family, property, criminal defence, personal injury and employment law.
The firm secured a refinancing package with Yorkshire Bank in Bolton.
Greg French, Managing Director at AFG Law, said, “We cannot thank the team at CLB Coopers enough for their support and encouragement. There is certainly a bright future for the firm.
We were introduced to AFG Law by CLB Coopers as one of the major challenger banks. We offer a friendly, personable service to our customers and were seeking the same sort of experience from our bank. We have ambitious plans for the future and want to open more offices, expanding geographically and growing our team. Our goal is to become one of the leading law firms in the North West”.View all news
