Senior appointments mark continued growth at CLB Coopers

The Lancaster office of CLB Coopers has expanded its senior team to help satisfy demand from the local business community.

The firm has appointed Jenny Pape and Susanna Cassey as part of its ongoing plans for growth. It has also announced the promotion of Ryan Wear to the position of Director in its Audit team.

Jenny, who joins CLB Coopers’ specialist Tax team as Senior Manager, has experience advising SME and owner-managed businesses, as well as charitable organisations and international groups, on all aspects of corporation tax. She joins CLB Coopers after ten years at KPMG’s Preston office.

Susanna joins the firm after six years with Moore & Smalley LLP where she was Corporate Services Director. Her appointment further enhances the management team at CLB Coopers and she will be focused on further expanding the business, as well as strengthening its offering to SMEs and owner-managed businesses in the Lancaster and Cumbria area.

Tony Whiteway, Senior Director who heads up the firm’s Lancaster office, said, “It is fantastic to welcome two candidates of such high calibre to the CLB Coopers team, as well as see Ryan achieve his ambition of progressing to Director level.

Our Lancaster team goes from strength to strength. The expertise that Susanna brings invaluably broadens the wide range of skills we have in the senior team, and with Ryan’s in-depth technical expertise and commercial knowledge, we can continue to provide the support our clients and their businesses need from us.

We now have the strongest tax team in our history and having Jenny on board will only add to that. She has an impressive track record in advisory work and tax planning and is a valuable addition to the team.

These are exciting developments; there are other senior appointments in the pipeline across the firm and we will also be welcoming Accountancy and Tax graduates to our team in September. Demand from our clients for additional services has never been higher and we are also seeing increasing numbers of businesses working with us for the first time”.
